Next Steps

The Utilities Commission — responsible for setting water rates — will review all public feedback before acting on the proposed water rates during their regular meeting at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

If approved, the rates would take effect on January 1, 2025, and on January 1, 2026. Adjustments to water rates do not affect other fees on the City utility bill.

Visit our Water Rates webpage for additional information about water rate drivers, the rate setting process, timeline, and proposed increase.
