  • Share I live near the site for McKinley Elementary School. Last week we saw workers cutting down a big tree. Upon closer inspection, we saw that a stump was left behind. As we have a fireplace and stove, we are wondering if we can have the stump delivered to us or anyone else who wants it. Thanks! on Facebook Share I live near the site for McKinley Elementary School. Good morning,

Thanks for reaching out about the project. It looks like that stump you mentioned is going to be removed and ground by our contractor. You can reach out to them directly to ask if there is anything usable left that you can have. I am not sure they would deliver anything though.

You can find the contractor information on their website at Brown Contracting or give them a call at 541-338-9345.

    Thanks,
    Krista

Because the project is filling in gaps of missing sidewalks and connecting to existing sidewalk, we are matching the existing sidewalk design, which is curb-tight.
