As Hillsboro approaches its 150thanniversary, we’re inviting community members to share their stories, values, and ideas to help inspire the creation of Hillsboro’s first official City flag. This questionnaire is an opportunity for you to reflect on what makes Hillsboro special—its history, diversity, innovation, and spirit—and share how those elements might be represented in a flag design.
Your input will directly inform this year’s Civic Leadership Academy participants as they work to develop flag design options that capture the heart of our community. The designs will be shared with the City Council, who will then determine the process of selecting the final flag design at the October 21 meeting.
Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a newcomer, or someone who works or studies here, we want to hear your voice. Thank you for helping us tell Hillsboro’s story—through your words and through a flag that represents us all.
