Pix in the Park 2024
Pix in the Park is Hillsboro’s free outdoor movie series each Friday night in August.
Bring a blanket or low-backed chair and stretch out in front of the big screen! Snack food vendors will be available or bring your own. Movies will be closed captioned in English unless otherwise noted.
Activities start at 7:30pm, and movies begin at dusk (between 8:15-8:45 pm).
The anticipation is over! The curtain has fallen on community voting for the 2024 Pix in the Park movie series in August at Hillsboro parks. With nearly 3,000 votes cast in February and March on Engage Hillsboro and the Spanish-language platform Conectate Hillsboro, the community has spoken and the five winning movie titles have been selected:
Throwback Disney: Friday, August 2 @ Griffin Oaks Park
*Community Choice: Hercules (1997) – G (1,351 votes)
Spanish-Language movie (entirely in Spanish, with Spanish audio & Spanish subtitles): Friday, August 9 @ Walnut Street Park
*Community Choice: Wish (2023) – PG (164 votes on Conéctate Hillsboro)
Throwback Classic: Friday, August 16 @ Orenco Woods Nature Park

Animated: Friday, August 23 @ Shadywood Park

Blockbuster: Friday, August 30 @ Shute Park
