Hillsboro Parks and Recreation is planning improvements to the East Evergreen Park plaza, a quiet 0.75-acre space at 2615 NE Amberglen Pkwy, across from Streets of Tanasbourne.
This area currently features benches, picnic tables, a grass area, and an amphitheater, serving as a peaceful connection point between nearby condominiums, apartments, shopping, restaurants, and the hospital.
We've observed residents using the plaza to access trails, walk dogs, and enjoy lunch breaks. To ensure improvements meet community needs, we're seeking input from neighbors within the half-mile park service area.
Please note: Due to limited restrooms and parking, improvements cannot include large structures or support events that would attract visitors requiring driving. We're committed to maintaining the plaza's quiet atmosphere out of respect for surrounding residents.

To select the best options for the plaza improvements, we are reaching out to neighbors that live in the apartment and condominiums developments located within the half-mile park service area.
The following are the proposed improvements by the Hillsboro Parks and Recreation staff. We value and welcome your input as to which potential improvements you'd most like to see as well as providing new ideas. There are some limitations, such as the lack of restrooms and parking, that would prohibit the addition of structures or hosting large events that would attract people from other neighborhoods, requiring them to drive to the park. Additionally, to respect the residents around this plaza, we would like to maintain a quiet environment.
